Request a survey

Tell us what it's made of.

We survey before we price — always. Send the property over and we'll book 40 minutes to walk it with you. There's no charge and nothing to sign.

What needs looking at?

Tick anything that applies — the survey covers the whole envelope regardless.

We reply by the next working day. We don't pass your details on.

Before you ask

The four we get every week

Will you quote over the phone?

No. We can give you a range once we know the era and size, but the number that ends up on paper comes after someone has put a hand on the mortar. Anyone quoting your Victorian brick sight-unseen is quoting a driveway price and hoping.

Is the survey really free?

Yes, and you keep the written scope whether or not you use us. If the honest answer is that the north elevation can wait another two winters, that's what the scope will say.

What about the planting?

Beds are soaked before mixing and sheeted where they sit under a working elevation, then rinsed again at the end. Tell us about anything rare or newly planted on the survey and we'll plan the elevation order around it.

How long until it needs doing again?

North-facing and shaded elevations green up first — usually 18 to 24 months. Open, sunny elevations often go three or four years. The care plan is just us watching the shaded faces so you don't have to.
